Websites for engineering and manufacturing companies

THE WEBSITE YOUR BUYERS CHECK BEFORE THEY CALL.

Engineers, buyers and tender panels judge you on your website before they shortlist you. We build sites that show what you make, who for, and the accreditations behind it. Your team edits every page, and every enquiry lands in your inbox.

    Their event, four days later

Pritchard Group is a family-run mechanical, electrical, fire safety and refurbishment contractor working across the UK. They needed a new website in time for an event, eighteen days away.

We took the brief, agreed the scope in writing and launched four days early. Here is what their team has now.

Open pritchard-group.co.uk
  • Their team edits it

Any page can be changed visually on the site itself, so news, projects and services go up without waiting on us.

  • Enquiries reach a person

Every form sends an email to the team the moment it is filled in. They reply straight from that email instead of logging in to a CRM to find the lead.

  • Fast, and found

The pages load quickly and are built for search engines to read, so new pages are picked up by Google quickly.

Where industrial websites lose work

FOUR WAYS A GOOD FIRM LOSES THE SHORTLIST.

None of these show up in a report. A buyer looks, cannot find what they need, and calls somebody else. Each one is fixed in the build.

  1. 01

    Every capability on one page

What it costs youA defence buyer and a food producer read the same paragraph, and neither sees their job in it.

A page per capability and per sector, each with the processes, materials, tolerances or standards that buyer looks for, and a project or two to prove it.

  2. 02

    Accreditations buried in the footer

What it costs youA procurement checklist asks for ISO 9001 or CHAS and the evidence is a logo strip nobody scrolls to.

Accreditations and approvals near the top, each linked to the certificate, and repeated on the pages where a buyer needs them.

  3. 03

Datasheets and drawings on request only

What it costs youAn engineer who wants the spec at 9pm finds a phone number and moves on.

Datasheets, brochures and drawings as downloads, managed in the CMS by your team, so the newest version is always the one online.

  4. 04

An enquiry form that asks nothing

What it costs youName, email, message: your estimator still has to call back to learn the material, volume and deadline.

A form that asks what your team needs to quote, delivered by email to the right person, so the first reply can be a useful one.

The work

COMPANY SITES, LIVE. OPEN ANY OF THEM.

An M&E and fire safety contractor, a ventilation distributor with four UK branches, an accredited training company, a corporate wellness firm and a trade advisory. Hover a frame to scroll the page, click to open the real site.

Some of these can load live, straight from the client's own domain, which sets that site's cookies.

WHAT THEY SAID AFTERWARDS.

  • ★★★★★

“Nitesh helped us redesign our website and was a pleasure to work with throughout the project. He took the time to understand our business, listened carefully to our feedback, and came up with thoughtful suggestions that made the site much clearer, more intuitive, and professional.

  • ★★★★★

“Nitesh rebuilt our website and quickly understood what an advisory firm needs it to do. He took a fairy comple set of services and made them clear and credible, and he was responsible through every round of feedack. The new site finally reflects how we actually work with clients, and it has made those first conversations much easier. Genuinely glad we worked with him.”

Before you ask

WHAT ENGINEERING FIRMS ASK US FIRST.

Straight answers, including the ones where the honest answer is that it costs more.

We do not pretend to know your process better than you do, and the build does not need us to. The onboarding questionnaire asks what you make, the materials, tolerances, standards and sectors involved, and who buys it. We structure the site around those answers and your team checks every technical page before it goes live.

Yes. They sit in the CMS as downloads attached to the right product, capability or sector page, and your team replaces a file in a minute when a revision comes out, so the version online is the current one.

Near the top of the site rather than in a footer strip, each one linked to the certificate or the scheme's own listing, and repeated on the pages where a buyer is likely to need it. When one renews, your team updates the file and the date themselves.

Yes, and it is usually the biggest single improvement on an industrial site. A page for each sector, with the work you do for it and a project to prove it, lets a buyer from that sector see themselves straight away, and gives each page its own chance to be found in search.

Whoever you choose. Each form sends an email to the right person or shared inbox the moment it is submitted, with every field the visitor filled in, and replying to that email replies to the visitor. Different forms can go to different people, for example quotes to estimating and vacancies to the office.

It helps with the part that happens before and around the tender: buyers and panels check the website to judge whether a firm is the right size and has done this kind of work. It will not win a tender on its own and we do not claim it does. What it can do is make sure nothing on it counts against you.

A catalogue with filters, datasheets and an enquire or quote button on each product, yes, and that is part of the Advanced build. Full online ordering with trade accounts, customer-specific pricing and stock levels is a bigger job and is priced on its own once we have seen what your systems can share.

Most of the companies we build for are in the UK, including the two on this page. We work to UK hours for calls, invoice in GBP, and you deal with the same person from the first call to launch. The working first version on a private link is how most of the feedback happens anyway, so the distance rarely shows.

SEND US YOUR SITE. GET A HOMEPAGE SKETCH BACK.
