This Cookie Policy explains how Storifex Media LLP uses cookies and similar technologies on storifexmedia.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. By "cookies" we mean cookies and equivalent technologies such as local storage and pixels.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, store data in your browser in the same way. They let a site remember your actions and preferences and enable certain features.
- First-party vs third-party: first-party items are set by us; third-party items are set by another organisation whose content we embed.
- Session vs persistent: session items are deleted when you close your browser; persistent items remain until they expire or you delete them.
- Strictly necessary vs optional: some items are essential for the site to function; the rest load only with your consent.
Our legal basis
We place strictly necessary cookies on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a functional and secure website; these are exempt from prior consent. All other cookies and similar technologies are placed only with your prior consent, which you give through our cookie banner and can withdraw at any time. This reflects the consent requirements under the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules, and the consent principles of India's DPDP Act.
The categories we use
Our cookie banner lets you accept or decline each optional category independently. Strictly necessary items are always on because the site cannot work without them.

What we actually store
The specific items we use are listed below. We run no advertising cookies at all. The Google Analytics tag does load on every page, so Google receives your IP address and the address of the page you are on, but it starts in a denied state: until you enable the Analytics category it sets none of the cookies in the rows below, stores no identifier for you, and cannot tell one of your visits from another. Turn the category off again and it returns to that state straight away.

Third-party embedded content
To show our work, we may embed a client's live website, for example a non-profit site we built. This content loads only after you allow Functional cookies. Once loaded, it is served by the third party, which may set its own cookies governed by its own cookie and privacy policies. We do not control those cookies. You can avoid them by not enabling Functional cookies, or by opening the client site directly in a new tab instead.
We also show our rating from Clutch, an independent B2B review platform. The badge is loaded from widget.clutch.co and only after you allow Functional cookies. Clutch may set its own cookies and process your IP address under its own cookie and privacy policies, which we do not control. Until you allow Functional cookies we show a plain link to our Clutch profile instead, which sets nothing until you choose to follow it.
Managing and withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer, which reopens the banner so you can update each category. Withdrawing consent stops the relevant cookies from loading on future visits and does not affect processing that already took place lawfully.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies and local storage. Most browsers let you manage this under their privacy or site-data settings; consult your browser's help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge or your mobile browser. Blocking strictly necessary items may stop parts of the site from working, including remembering your cookie choice.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We set no advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites. Analytics stores nothing unless you switch the Analytics category on, so declining the banner, or simply never accepting it, already leaves no cookie to clear and no profile to delete. If you turn it on and later change your mind, use Cookie settings in the footer: we stop measuring straight away, in that tab, without waiting for a reload.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes or as the law develops. The version and effective date at the top of the page show when it last changed. Where the change affects optional cookies, we will ask for your consent again.
